Abstract:
The author considers the peculiarities of teaching a foreign language to students of non-language universities. The advantages of using audiovisual means in teaching are listed. The cognitive peculiarities of modern students in the context of clip thinking, which justify the use of audiovisual means are disclosed. The disadvantages of using audiovisual media are listed.
