SOCIAL AND CIVIC IDENTITY IN THE PARADIGM OF CIVIL SOCIETY

Abstract (English):
In this work, the current issues of the formation of civil society in the context of socio-cultural problems of the development of all mankind are considered. Theoretical approaches to the concept of “identity” are analyzed. The influence of information technology and innovation development processes on socio-cultural, economic, political and other spheres of public life is emphasized. The concept of identity has been analyzed, which acts for each collective community as self-determination of one’s own image and the content of self-consciousness. The important role of the rule of law is noted, which, in interrelation and interdependence with civil society shapes the space for the formation of people’s civil identity in the world of modernity and post-modernity.
