The authors analyze how the uncertainty of an increasingly complex society difficult to be predicted affects the actors’ behavioral choices and trace the dynamics of research into the aspirations of individuals and the factors influencing the ways in which they respond. The main focus in this work is on the rationality of subjects as they make transformations of social reality. The authors consider promising practices increasing the rationality and efficiency of decisions and allowing, in a sense, to overcome uncertainty. The interrelations between personal and collective intensions and the normative and value bases of social being have been established.
