In this work, the author substantiates the need for practice-oriented teaching English to future customs officers using the method of professionally oriented linguodidactic role play. The results of a diagnostic study are presented that have enabled the author to draw a conclusion about the relevance of developing a technology for teaching students conflict management strategies when communicating with foreigners. The author proposes original educational technology that makes it possible to master conflict resolution skills and to build verbal communication skills on a tight schedule. Some pedagogical conditions of the proposed technology adoption, its structure and stages are described. The prospects for practical implementation of the presented learning technology are outlined.
