IMPACT OF SANCTIONS ON RUSSIA’S CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY: CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS OF INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract:
The author analyzes the current state of the Russian construction industry in the context of Western sanctions, examines the mechanism of sanctions pressure, and concludes that sanctions have a negative impact on the financial and economic situation in the industry. Based on the results of a study of the state of the construction industry, the author has identified factors that affect the construction industry, both positively and negatively. Considering the results of the research, the author proposes ways to develop the construction industry, allowing it to function and add capacity under sanctions, with account for the fact that Russian construction complex has growth potential.
