Abstract (English):
The authors examine the problematic issues of modern life associated with the increase in the number of suicides. The analysis of the reasons contributing to the growth of these events points to the anomaly of society, its imperfection, so suicide as a phenomenon can be regarded as one of the symptoms of human social instability and the crisis of modern life. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the motivation for suicide as an act, as well as the search for ways to solve problems causing the suicide and to prevent this destructive phenomenon, provoked by crisis shocks, an integral part of which is the universal crisis associated with universal, total transformations and destruction of practices both in the field of world transformation and worldview. It has been concluded that the basis of human life is the value of this life, hence the need to concentrate attention on the axiological factor of human life, where the solution to the problem is to turn to the world of values — Wertswelt. Suicide is an act that a person commits, therefore it is necessary to understand what happens to a person when the result of this happening is an act of taking one’s own life. It is argued that philosophical understanding of announced problem should be focused on metaphysical recognition and recording of what is happening to a person, on diagnosing external factors and circumstances.
