The author reviews the problems and prospects of development of Russia’s main international transport corridors: ITC “East — West”, ITC “North — South” and the Northern Sea Route, with consideration for the shift of the country’s geopolitical and economic interests from the West to the East. The analysis of the main current cargo traffic routes and volumes, as well as relevant public policy, has been completed with the construction of prospects for the development of Russia’s main transportation corridors and the substantiation of feasibility of creating new cargo traffic routes to strengthen international trade and economic relations.
