The authors analyze the peculiarities of the influence of digital technology on the state and development of financial market. In this work, digitalization is considered as one of the key trends in the development of global financial market and global economy in general, along with such phenomena as financialization and globalization. The authors account for the role of digitalization in emergence of new financial instruments and formation of the new segment of financial market which is the market of digital financial assets and cryptocurrencies. The impact of digitalization on the acceleration of financial flows and an increase in their volume is also considered. The conclusion has been made about investors’ prudent interest towards new types of financial products and services.
