Decentralized autonomous organizations as a new way to manage transborder trade

Abstract:
The authors consider the principles of setting up a decentralized electronic marketplace operating as a decentralized autonomous organization. Specific aspects of regulation of decentralized autonomous organizations were analyzed and possibility of their operation as independent entities engaged in foreign economic activity was proven. An algorithm for organizing the procedures for payment and delivery of goods in the absence of a centralized organizing framework is given. Specific resultant issues and opportunities that are material for importers and exporters, as well as customs authorities are designated. It has been proposed to implement the technical execution of the marketplace on the basis of TheOoL, decentralized service for cloud storage and cloud computing. TheOoL is a versatile distributed and decentralized operating system designed for the protection of distributed computing.
