World economic evolution: trends at the present stage
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
New factual and statistical data characterizing the main trends in world economic dynamics are analyzed. At the same time, the most significant processes occurring at the global, regional and country levels in the current period are considered. Primary attention is paid to the latest changes in the spheres of gross product production, as well as international (commodity) trade. A comparison was made of the most important dynamic indicators in these areas at the recovery stage after global crisis shocks associated with the large-scale spread of viral infection and the subsequent adoption of a set of protective measures in many countries. The following are official assessment materials on the results of the development of the situation for the current year, and forecasts for the coming year. But considering the expediency of generating representative analytical data, the time frame of the study was expanded to the decade 2015—2024. This way the corresponding dynamic series of indicators are built. The analysis has been undertaken on the basis of the methodology of comparative statistical research using recently published official data, which was actually introduced into Russian scientific circulation for the first time.
