Modern Russian economy remains in a state of high uncertainty regarding future development prospects. Given the ongoing changes in Russian foreign policy, the importance of enterprises, as well as the defense industry as a whole, in the economic and social life of the country is increasing. Practices of corporate social responsibility implemented by defense industry enterprises play a substantial role in this process. The authors analyze the examples of corporate social responsibility of defense industry enterprises in Russia, India, and Türkiye and conduct their comparative analysis. The choice of countries is conditioned by the fact that each of them faced the issues of the productivity enhancement and production expansion at different stages of their defense industries development. Based on the analysis results, the authors have concluded about the possibility and appropriateness of using foreign experience of corporate social responsibility at Russian defense industry enterprises in the current conditions. Additionally, the authors estimate the prospect of developing corporate social responsibility practices at defense industry enterprises in Russia.
