Авторы решают вопросы рационального распределения ресурсов и координированного высококачественного развития экономики регионов. Разработан инструментарий для выявления источников регионального роста и причин региональных отличий. На основе панельных данных по 30 единицам провинциального уровня Китая за 2014—2023 гг. построена трехэтапная DEA-модель, рассчитан индекс Мальмквиста и его декомпозиция. Сделаны выводы об особенностях развития экономических регионов Китая, о причинах и структуре экономического роста провинций. Путем анализа индекса Мальмквиста определено влияние технического прогресса на факторную производительность. Приведены рекомендации по улучшению внутренней эффективности регионов.

The authors address the issues of rational allocation of resources and coordinated high-quality development of the regional economy. In this work, a toolkit is developed to identify the sources of regional growth and the causes of regional differences. Based on panel data on 30 provincial-level units in China for the years 2014 to 2023, a three-stage DEA model is built, the Malmquist index and its decomposition are calculated. Conclusions have been drawn about the peculiarities of the development of China’s economic regions, the causes and structure of the provinces’ economic growth. By analyzing the Malmquist index, the impact of technological progress on factor productivity has been determined. Recommendations for improving the internal efficiency of the regions are given.
