Как известно, миссия высшего образования заключается в подготовке интеллектуальной элиты общества, способной вывести страну на мировой научно-технический и экономический уровень. По мнению идеологов реформы высшего образования в России, внедрение федерального стандарта образования должно её выполнить. Автор, как непосредственный исполнитель требований стандарта ФГОС ВПО по созданию новых электронных учебно-методических материалов, к сожалению, пришла к неутешительным выводам, как по форме, так и по содержанию данного стандарта. Терпеливость, незащищённость и вера в непобедимость бюрократии от образования наших преподавателей сыграли с ними злую шутку: они оказались заложниками собственного терпения и трудолюбия.

The author, as the direct executor of the requirements of the Standard of Higher Education to create new electronic teaching materials, unfortunately, came to a disappointing conclusion, both in form and content of the standard. Patience, insecurity and the belief in the invincibility of the bureaucracy of the education of our teachers have played a cruel joke with them: they were hostages of their own patience and diligence.
